Today we want to wish a VERY Happy Birthday to my talented and crafty friend ABBY!!!

I used the Cinco de Mayo bears from My Paper Crafting and the Traditions collection from Echo Park. the Sentiments are from Abby's Stamp Line Dilo En Español:  Queremos Pastel.

For this weeks challenge we are doing an "anything goes" project with a Christmas theme. For my project I created some cute paper pierced ornaments for my tree:

My son wanted to help with these so he actually help me put together and "glitter" Mr. and Mrs. Santa, the googly eyes was his idea too. We did about half dozen of each and added them to our tree. I got to say they add the perfect touch!

Feliz Dia de Accion de Gracias!!

Hola Chicas!! Me imagino que todas han de andar cocinando el rico pavo de accion de gracias ... bueno por lo menos las que estamos aca en EEUU y las que concinan han de estar apuradisimas!  Con eso de que la cocina y yo estamos peleadas, a mi me toca llevar platos vasos etc... LOL

Paper Crafting World Copper Challange

Today we are bringing you a challenge using the color COPPER.  For today's project I used embossed copper color cardstock for the 16 pt flower.  This is a gorgeous flower, the minute I saw it I knew I wanted to make a card that highlighted the flower itself, and copper just seemed perfect.

Today is the last day of new releases over at :

Dilo En Español

Today we bring you a must have for all stampers, this type of sentiment is the one I tend to use the most as there is always plenty of opportunity to say GRACIAS to some you know. This mini set has the word GRACIAS is a BIG font - 3/4" x 4" and it includes several sentiments to personalize what you are giving thanks for. For my card today I used just the GRACIAS stamp:

The little kitty stamp is something I made last week at the Sacramento scrapbook expo. I've had my noir markers for months but haven't really practiced coloring as I am intimidated by the whole blending thing. Last Friday I did a make and take that showed me a few tricks for blending and coloring. This was the result of it. I think I did pretty good considering it was my first time!!
