For my digi creation today I am using the cute little Chubby Bear as Bee from Melin's PCW:

Isn't he adorable~!!!! I lobe the chubby little face and cute little bees. An this matches the freebie that Melin is giving out today.For this card I used paper from Echo Park's Sweet collection for the background and solid card stock in orange and black for the mat and card base. I used ribbon and flowers to accent the card and stickles on the wings and flowers to make them sparkly!!!!

The cards measure 4x4 and are perfect for this stamp set.

Cada tarjeta tiene un sellito differente de acuerdo a la ocaccion.

Each card has a different sentiment, which can be used for any occasion.

PCW Challenge: Apples & or Honey

Welcome to another week of Challenges over at Melin's Paper Crafting World. Today in honor of Yom Kippur we are featuring projects that include apples and/or honey.

For my project today I used the Bear in Sweater  digi stamp. The bees are from the Chubby Bear as Bee.

I used stickles to add glimmer to the bee's wings and the different colored apples. They are very sparkly and cute. There is a whole array of digis with apples over at PCW, I had a hard time choosing one, check them out and join us for this weeks's challenge.

Paper Crafting World: Digi Desserts Fridaze

TGIF!!!! Fridays just got even better, why? Because is Digi Desserts Fridaze at Paper Crafting World!!!!

What is Digi Desserts Fridaze? It's your change to check out some of Melin's awesome digital stamps. Every Friday over at  Paper Crafting World the design teams from PCW and CWC will show off some of Melin's digital goodies. As a thank you for joining us Melin will be giving out a FREE digital stamp for you try out. 

Now if you are a novice (like me) or a total pro at coloring digital stamps, these stamps are PERFECT. Each of Melin's digital files comes with a pre-colored imaged and also a line art image that you can color to your hearts content!! Isn't she awesome!!!!!! 

For today's Fridaze .... she has a beautiful Apple digi:

This image is already pre-colored so all I had to do was to design around it, and the image itself is the center of attention. Isn't if pretty?

Paper Crafting World Challenge: Texture

This card uses Melin's totally cute YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE digi. For texture I did dry embossing and used twine, stickles and pop up dots. Now try not to smile after looking at that cute happy sun!!!!

This week I got to play with my new sets and I absolutely LOOOOVEEEE them! Those of you that have used peachy keen stamps know that they offer great quality, so you get that great peachy keeness (made up word LOL) along with Abby's ubber cute sentiments and images.

For my grand finale I used the gorgeous and brand spanking new Megan designed stamp LUNA,

she is sooo pretty a must have for your Megan stamp collection of  DILO EN ESPAñOL.

as you can see I am working on my coloring skills with my new Noir markers, I am getting better but have a loooong way to go. I really enjoy coloring her, she turned out dreammy!!!

Dia 3 de lanzamiento/Day 3 of sneak peeks

Welcome to Day 3 of sneak peeks for DILO EN ESPAñOL!!!

Today we are featuring the set of Mi Escuela which has the most perfect images and stamps for your school projects. It has a few frases of encouragement that can also be used on everyday projects. 

For my project today I used the LO LOGRASTE stamp, which means "you did it!"

It also has EXCELENTE and TE SACASTE UN DIEZ which means you "aced it"

Now here my project I was talking about:

For the butterfly I printed it on regular persentation paper then I printed the same image on velum to create the "flying" 3d effect. She looks gorgeous in person. I also used my brand new just out of the package FLAG DIES 2 they are freeggin awesome!! I am not big into dies, but these might just get me into them and that big nice stamp fits beautifully in the middle - love it!. For the paper I used my BO Bunny collection and added my iconic 3 dots and swirly bling.

Dilo En Expañol Lanzamiento Dia 2/ Release Week Day 2

Bienvenidas al segundo dia de nuestra semana de lanzamiento en Dilo en Español!!! Que tal el primer dia? de lujo no? Abby hizo un maravillo trabajo con los nuevos sellos. 

Y hablando de nuevos sellos, hoy les traigo unas muestras del nuevo set de BAUTIZO!! Este set tiene frases   e imagenes perfectas para tus projectos bautismales. 

So how did you like our first day of sneak peeks over at Dilo en Español? Wasn't it awesome! The ladies did an amazing job with their first day of projects. Speaking of wonderful projects.... today we have some more for your. Today we are showcasing the BAUTIZO set, this set has graphics and images perfect for your baptism cards or favors. For my project I did two different types of favors using this wonderful new set.

Para muestra hice unos pequenos recuerditos con el tema de bautizo:

Esta perfecto y se puede hacer en blanco o cualquier color como amerite la ocasion. 

This little show is perfect for baptism favors and the stamps just seals the deal.

Reto # 5 Para Niños ó Por Niños

This month we have such a FUN challenge over at Dilo en Español - the theme is For Kids or By Kids. We are looking for projects made BY KIDS or FOR KIDS. I thought this was a great idea since I have a 5 year old that is always "trying" to help me craft and wants to use all my tools (and expensive nice paper!) to make "cricut" stuff with me.

Well today I allowed him - with supervision of course - to use my cricut and my tools to make his own little card. I let him choose the paper and he picked green because that is his favorite color. I set up the all the items he needed and "designed" the card for him, but I let him put it all together all by himself.

Here is the set up I made for him to start the card with:

I allowed him to pick the stamp he wanted to use and he asked for one that said PAPI because he wanted to give it to dad. I asked him why not make it for Mommy? He said, I think I want to give it to Dad :( He also saw the little sun and wanted to make sure to use it because the sun is bright and the turtle needs light to see mommy ..... hmm ok. LOL

I tried letting him use my liquid glue and that almost turned into a disaster, thankfully the glob of glue did not get into the card so I was able to substitute it for a glue stick.

And here he is my handsome little man proudly showing his first card!

While I was taking photos of the card and working on my blog post he stayed in my craftroom playing with some scraps of paper, he was really quiet - which anyone that has kids knows that is never a good sign unless they are asleep - this is what he was working on:

This is Daddy and Mommy Rocks. I am the little rock with short legs that are stuck under LOL 

This was a great project and Xaeed loved creating his card, maybe I am creating the next Tim Holtz!! ha ha I doubt it but I know he has fun crafting with me. 

Materials:

- Sentiment Queremos Pastel Set

-Create a Critter: Turtle 

-Misc cardstock and ribbon

-Googly Eyes - which are now Xaeeds favorite along with glue dots

NEWS!! and a New Challenge

Welcome to September!! Boy how time flies when you are having FUN. Well the big news on my blog today is : I am still part of Melin's Design Team!!! However, since I am now using my Cameo a lot more than my cricut I am joining her Paper Crafting World side of the team!!!! I had a great run with the gals over at the Cooking with Cricut side, but I am now semi retiring my cricut and moving on to my AWESOME new cutter my CAMEO. I am seriously IN LOVE with the cameo and Melin's files are an awesome way to get more personal with it.

The new challenge for this week is a color combo inspiration:

For my inaugural showcase I did this cute little card using Melin's Qtootie Patootie and the grass and sun from the Apple Tree Set :

Materials List:
- PCW Qtootie Patootie
- PCW Apple Tree Set
- Twine in green, blue and red
- Dilo En Espanol Stamp : Feliz Dia
- Solid Cardstock and misc flowers


Isn't she the cutest? I love that you can get them in stamps and cutting files so you can create the look you want. Either way the files are so easy to use and soooo CUTE!!!!
