For my project I created a card that uses the digi as literally the center of attention. I used my Dilo en Espanol stamp which says : "Join in the Fight". I am also entering my PCW card into the LINK UP FOR PINK event.

For my digi creation today I am using the cute little Chubby Bear as Bee from Melin's PCW:

Isn't he adorable~!!!! I lobe the chubby little face and cute little bees. An this matches the freebie that Melin is giving out today.For this card I used paper from Echo Park's Sweet collection for the background and solid card stock in orange and black for the mat and card base. I used ribbon and flowers to accent the card and stickles on the wings and flowers to make them sparkly!!!!

Paper Crafting World Challenge: Texture

Welcome to another Challenge at PAPER CRAFTING WORLD !!!! This weeks challenge is to create using Texture.   

For the challenge I created this card:

This card uses Melin's totally cute YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE digi. For texture I did dry embossing and used twine, stickles and pop up dots. Now try not to smile after looking at that cute happy sun!!!!

NEWS!! and a New Challenge

Welcome to September!! Boy how time flies when you are having FUN. Well the big news on my blog today is : I am still part of Melin's Design Team!!! However, since I am now using my Cameo a lot more than my cricut I am joining her Paper Crafting World side of the team!!!! I had a great run with the gals over at the Cooking with Cricut side, but I am now semi retiring my cricut and moving on to my AWESOME new cutter my CAMEO. I am seriously IN LOVE with the cameo and Melin's files are an awesome way to get more personal with it.

The new challenge for this week is a color combo inspiration:

For my inaugural showcase I did this cute little card using Melin's Qtootie Patootie and the grass and sun from the Apple Tree Set :

- Solid Cardstock and misc flowers


Isn't she the cutest? I love that you can get them in stamps and cutting files so you can create the look you want. Either way the files are so easy to use and soooo CUTE!!!!

WOOO HOOO! My first DT assignment! I have very anxious to share the news with you all, but I had to patiently wait until today to share the news. I have landed my fist DT assignment and it's with Melin and the wonderful team over at Cooking With Cricut!!! (insert happy dance). I am totally looking forward to my term with CWC and have already (sorta ) planned almost half of my projects! (well in my head at least) I have so many ideas that I want to share and I can't wait to get started. So without further a do here is my introductory project for my DT:

Seuss-Read Across America Challenge

for this challenge we had to create a project featuring our favorite Dr. Seuss book or a project that encourages reading. For this, I kinda did both. I had been to create (or re-create) a book mark card that I have seen on several blogs. Most of the instructions involve doing it by HAND... no way, that's why I have my cricky! So I went on to find the easiest way to re-create it using only one cartridge and this is what I came up:

This is a tri-fold card using the AWESOME Art Philosophy cart from CTMH. I absolutely LOVE this cartrige, is like a fancy version of George or Plantin and it has a whole set of cards!

I welded the rounded edge card with a cute looking tag and sized it to fit an A2 size card when folded. 

When you get this card you get 2 for 1: the card and a cute bookmark!

The digital stamps are from Paper Crafting World where Melin has tons of adorable digis and cuttables.
