Baby Shower Booties

I have been actually busy creating stuff, but since I don't have a camera I haven't been posting as much. I can only take pics with my phone and they are pretty bad specially indoors. So I am going to have to wait to post pics of all my latest creations. Here are some cute little baby shoes I made as party favors for my cousing baby shower. You can get the template HERE they are just the cutest little baby shoes and so easy to make.

Happy New Year - 2011

New year, new projects and lost of wonderful scrapping plans for the new year. I got lots of new goodies from friends and Family and can't wait to try them out. Speaking of new things... I am not sure how long this has been up but I just found wordle a great FREE site where you can creat word art for FREE... did I mention FREE...gotta love all the freebies in cyber space. This one is pretty simple to use (if I can use it you can too ha ha). You think of a word or random words and enter them into the system and it comes out in different variations and colors, totally AWESOME! I love the Serenity prayer so this was my first try, after many many different confugurations I actually figured out that the more a word repeats the bigger it will be compared to the other words soooo in this example I wanted SERENITY to be the biggest to I typed it like 8 times, then I did the same with the others and VOILA!! And you also get to play around with the color palette and adjust that too. This would be great for a card of backgroud print...... give it a try its fun and FREE!! enjoy your day.

La Guadalupana ~ Virgen Mary of Guadalupe

Today is the day of La Virgen de Guadalupe, like every year we wake up really early and go to church to sing Las Mananitas and other songs to celebrate her day. I have always admired the beautiful imprint of our lady of Guadalupe, even if you don't believe it's a miracle, it's still a beautiful piece of art - heavenly art if you ask me - I am not good at drawing so I found a very pretty cartoon version and made an SVG out of it. I am going to try and cut it later on today. It's cut as a coloring page and a lot of the details (like the stars and swirls were deleted to simplify) you can add those with embossing, or by drawing them in. Click HERE to download the SVG.

Pretty Purple Flower Card

Here is a sample of a card I made for a swap, I made 2 different versions of the card, one was deep purple and the other lavander purple. Both feature a flower from the Lucy Lou cartridge and stickles and dew drops which I colored in a dozen different colors... so much fun.  Here is the other version:

Nativity

Hello my friends! Its been a while since I posted, but that has not stopped me from creating, I just have been sharing as much. Well since its the season for giving and sharing I will share some of my projects I have done.

This one is a nativity set from Myscrapchick it is so cute and so easy to do. Here is my take on it. I used AC paper for all my cuts. lots of inking on the wood, windows and figures. An 3d dots to make it POP. Check out my scrap chick's nativity's sets she has 2 others.

Family Word Book

I made two of these books one for my sister for the swap below and another one for one of my buddies over at the Cricut MB. I just mailed it today so I hope she likes it.
