Welcome to anther Challange from Cooking with Cricut. Today we bring you BLING, GLITTER and DIAMONDS, because we all know crafting is not the same without any of those 3.

For my project today I used Melin's Queen of Hearts, but the help of my handy cricut I turned her into the Queen of Diamonds. I glittered and blinged her up to make a Queen of shiny. The picute really does not capture how shiny she is but she is adorable. I also added tatterred mist to her blouse to make it shiny, but again hard to see the little sparlies.

Thank you for stopping by and hope we inspire you to BLING it up today!

CWC Weekly Challenge: Card Outreach

Hello Bloggy friends!! Welcome to another week of Cooking with Cricut challenges. This week's challenge is for a very special cause, we are making cards for two adorable little ladies that are fighting cancer. We are sending them cards to cheer them up and give them encouragement to keep on fighting.

For my first card I used Melin's QT Patootie TWEENZ Tori as my centerpiece. I used CCR cricut basics for the card, mats and flag.

For my second card I used Melin's Cupcake Bear and the Art Philosophy Cartridge for the scallop circle and card. I also used some new washi tape that I just go... this is my first time using it and I LOOOVEE it. I might just have to order some more.

If your heart so desires join us and send these girls a card. We often have cards laying around that we have not yet used, why not use one of those to brighten a girls day?

Thanks for stopping by!

Cooking with Cricut Challenge

Happy Wednesday!! I can't believe Easter is just around the corner. I started doing my Easter cards in February and here we are four days from the holiday and I am still mailing some out.
Here is my card for this week:

For my Challenge this week I used the EASTER cartridge. I really like the theme carts for cards because most of them already have cards set for you, they are great for whenever I need to whip a  last minute card. With the EASTER cartridge you can decorate your whole Easter party using just this cartridge as it has all your basic cuts and then some, it even has a cute little basket! So what are your plans for Easter?

Sunday is not only Easter in our house we also celebrate 2 of sister's birthday, can we say PARTEEE!

Happy Birthday Jeni and Brenda!!
