La Guadalupana ~ Virgen Mary of Guadalupe

Today is the day of La Virgen de Guadalupe, like every year we wake up really early and go to church to sing Las Mananitas and other songs to celebrate her day. I have always admired the beautiful imprint of our lady of Guadalupe, even if you don't believe it's a miracle, it's still a beautiful piece of art - heavenly art if you ask me - I am not good at drawing so I found a very pretty cartoon version and made an SVG out of it. I am going to try and cut it later on today. It's cut as a coloring page and a lot of the details (like the stars and swirls were deleted to simplify) you can add those with embossing, or by drawing them in. Click HERE to download the SVG.

As always this is for your personal use only, please do not re-distribute. If you use it please share! I would love to see how it worked for you. Have a blessed day.

Both feature a flower from the Lucy Lou cartridge and stickles and dew drops which I colored in a dozen different colors... so much fun.  Here is the other version:

Lisa is known in this swap for her beautifully decorated boxes, as you can see above she does beautiful works of art, and I am very GRATEFUL that she chose to send one to me. Not only did she send all these wonderful goodies to everyone but she took the time to personalize them (see charm above) isn't she wonderful!!!

This box just made my day today and I hope I can pass this RAK to someone else. Thank you LISA this was a wonderful box, I am very grateful for your generosity!!!!!!

Now I encourage you to pass on some kindness and make someone smile today ........

Celys Flower Card - Challenge Card

I don't participate in to many challenges, mostly because I feel my stuff is not up to par to some of the wonderful creations I see around... but I like to think I am getting there :-) This one of for one of my dear SVGcuts friend Cely. She is having this challenge on her blog using the fabulous SVGs she has created. Check out her BLOG it's full of beautiful cards, fun SVGs and lots of wonderful Carolina humor, she is one talented lady!

Here is my humble rendition of her flower card:

Tweet Baby Cards

Since I already had a few extras of these adorable little baby birds, I decided to use them for my baby cards swaps. On this swap I have to do 5 cards of each theme: baby, thank you, bday and kids bday. So far I am done with this one and I have two more sets ready to assemble. I really like how this one turned out. I sued my Irock for the little corner stones.

4Seasons Themed Swap

Ok.. I know I been MIA for a little bit, I am trying to catch up with my postings. Even though I was not posting much I was still busy creating! Here is another set I did for a swap. This was a 4 Seasons themed swap. Again, I used the 3birds cart (I love it, can't get enough of the cute little birs). Both this one and the themed swap are due by the end of the month, Can't wait to see what other's have done.

Cricut Theme Swap

I am part of a couple of swaps over at the Cricut MB- One of them is a themed die cut Swap. Here are the two die cuts I did for this swap. I had two spots one on the BABY category and one on the SPORTS category. I used 3Birds on Parade cartridge for both of these.

Guest Designer- Easter Cartridge Project

Tangee over at KricutKrazy had this crazy, fun and wonderful idea to make all the projects that come on the binders of the Cricut Cartridges. Most of these projects are designed to be simple to duplicate to that anyone at any level of experience can do them. I was one of her volunteer Guest Designers and did a project for the EASTER CARTRIDGE. Head on over to her blog or just click  HERE to go directly to my project.

Here is a sneak peak:

Wine Holder - Wrought Iron Art

No I did not make this, this is my hubby's latest creation. It came out so lovely that I had to share (show off ) this was made to match my railing that has grape vines in it. Thanks Love!!

Altered ATG & Cuttlebug

Welll I took the plunge! With the help of my handy darling husband who helped with the painting I was able to finish altering my ATG and cuttlebug. I so want to paint my cricut too, but I might just wait a little for that one. I am very happy with they way these 2 turned out. Thanks to Cheryl  for helping out with the inspiration and directions.

The secong picture shows the back of the ATG which I am planning on using vinyl to label that side along with the cuttlebug, but I have to wait for the white vinyl to come it to completely finish it.

Gifts for Ana - Wordbook, Name Collage and card

I have been working on this gift since last week. Today I decided to just go for it and finish it all so I can send it out tomorrow.  The first part of the gift is a name collage which was inspired by none other than the Collage Queen Amy ! She does such a wonderful job with these name and invitation collages that you can't help but be inspired. Here is my humble rendition of the name collage:

I also did a BABY word book to match the name collage. This is my not my first try at a word book, but is my first baby book. Both projects used the MME - Penny Lane paper pack which is full of bright and yummy paper. The color scheme of the pack is pink, green, purple and blue. For my projects I focused on pink as the primary color and purple and green as the accents.  Here are a few pics of the word book:

I already had showed the matching card I made so I will not go into details about the card. This was a lot of work, but it came out very nice. Can't wait to send it out and surprise the mother to be!! Hope you like it ANA!!

Matching Card and Envelope Set

Here is another card I made, just hadn't had time to post. For this one I used Walk in my garden. Simple quick and easy card to make.

Butterfly card using ATC

I made a few extra butterfly ATC to keep, this is card that I made using the Atc as the main decor for an A2 card. I think I am liking ATC's, easy to make and you can use them for bigger cards - Cool!
