Cooking with Cricut Blog Hop - Crops of Luv

Welcome to the second day of Cooking with Cricut Crops of Luv Blog Hop. This month our designers chose to create layouts for the Crops of Luv Organization. If you came here from Lynden's Elegant Touch then you are in the right place, if you need to start from the beginning, then just head over to CWC.

Crops of Luv works hand-in-hand with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and creates scrapbooks for families who have children facing life-threatening illnesses. Our hop will focus on creating 12 x 12 Scrapbook double page LOs using these themes: Princesses, Pirates, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Summer Fun (e.g. swimming), Christmas or general Disney themes.

Crops of Luv has some specific guidelines for the layouts. They need to include a journaling block or tag and mats for 3 4 x 6 pictures on each page. They also do not want the photo mats permanently adhered to the page. That way they can flip them whichever way they need to.

We hope you will enjoy our creations! We would love for you to participate. You can make a two-page layout following the parameters outlined above and mail it directly to Crops of Luv c/o Roberta Baker, 11424 S. Pawnee Circle, Phoenix, AZ 85044. Since this blog hop is also a challenge, be sure to link your project to CWC/PCW.

If you would like more information about this organization, or would like to make a monetary or supply donation, please visit their web site, www.cropsofluv.com.

For my project I created a girlie layout using CREATE A CRITTER:

For my journaling tags created some secret tabs that would allow them to journal and insert the tags under the picture mats.I used ribbon and the sea shell as the tabs to pull out the tags.

Please join us in this challenge as we support the efforts of CROPS OF LUV.

Now head on over to:  Evelyn's blog and check out what she has made for this great cause!

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for another layout.
Thanks for stopping by!!!

Cooking with Cricut Blog Hop - Crops of Love

Welcome to the Cooking with Cricut Crops of Luv Blog Hop. This month our designers chose to create layouts for the Crops of Luv Organization. If you came here from Court's Craft Corner then you are in the right place, if you need to start from the beginning, then just head over to CWC.

For my project I created a girlie layout using PCW Baby Set 3:

As you can see from some of the pictures some of the items are not permanently attached. I am holding the mat's in place with re-positionable tape. I also left the backing on the flourishes so they can position them as they please. The title and little Giraffe are pretty stuck though!! LOL

Please join us in this challenge as we support the efforts of CROPS OF LUV.

Now head on over to:   L Y N D E N 'S  blog and check out what she has made for this great cause!

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for another layout.
Thanks for stopping by!!!

Cooking with Cricut Challenge #94

Welcome to another challenge at Cooking with Cricut! Today we bring you this month's edition of I FEEL THE LOVE PROJECT which this month is partnering up with Sheffield Place in Kansas City to bring smiles to the kids at this homeless shelter. If you too would like to donate cards for this worthy cause, please stop by CWC homepage and find out how you can also bring a smile to one of these kids.

For my project I was inspired by the trendy zebra patters I keep seeing everywhere!

For my card I used the create a critter zebra as the main theme of my card. I decorated with bordered paper, ribbons and bling!! For the sentiment I used Jadded Blossom's make-a-wish stamps.

I also added a cute little flower also from create a critter to the inside. I like to add a little something to the inside of the card, it makes them more fun! Thank you for stopping by today and feel free to join us for this weeks challenge!

Summer Challenge ~ Reto de Verano

Welcome to the new challange over at Dilo en Español! This month we begin the second half of the year and the design team of Dilo en Español welcome it with new stamps and a new challange.

Our New Challange Theme is: SUMMER!

For my summer themed project I did a stand up scene card featuring a relaxing beach scene.

Para mi projecte hice una tarjeta con paisaje que se puede mostrar un poco abierta para darle un toque de 3ra dimension.

The beautiful card design is from the Edisto Island Cards set from SVG CUTS, for the sentiment I used the new set Bella Amistad , the paper is from Echo Park's Sweet Day collection.

Para el diseño de la tarjeta use el set Edisto Island Cards de SVG CUTS con el sello del nuevo set Bella Amistad y el papel de Echo Park Sweet Day.

How would you like to relax in a place like this, I wish I was there NOW :-)

Que tal eh? Es mi primera vez que hago este tipo de targetas y creo que me gussstooo!

Ciao!!!

Happy BDay USA ~ CWC Red, White and Blue Challenge

Welcome to another edition of Cooking with Cricut weekly Challange. Today as we all celebrate our nation's birthday we draw inspiration from this joyous occasion as we create our projects using old glory's RED, WHITE and BLUE!

For my card I wanted to do something other than the flag but still maintain the patriotic colors and feel. I used the starred background paper and Melin's Birdcage, swirls and flowers frame set along with the Art Philosophy cartridge. The sentiment if from the Simple Sayings stamp set from Jaded Blossom

Thank you for stopping by!!! Have a wonderful holiday.
