3rd Annual Dia de los Muertos Blog Hop

Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated throughout Mexico in which we celebrate and honor those that have left before us. There is lots of traditions associated with this holiday, my favorite is the making of the Altar. You can go HERE to learn more about the making of the Altar and the symbolism behind the different items. 

For my Dia de los Muertos project I created a card using 








I used orange, red and black as my base colors. For some reason the red looks more orange in the pics.
I wanted Cualtzin to really stand out here so I used black embossing for the stamp and she looks great! Love all the details on this stamp!!!     What a great stamp! Adding the black embossing really made the stamp pop. Love that you added the black rhinestones and the flower at the bottom. This card is perfect for today. Thanks for sharing it with us.
